De la m\u00eame fa\u00e7on que les impressionnistes peignaient le quotidien de l\u2019ouvrier boulevers\u00e9 par l\u2019industrialisation, Kollar confronte la repr\u00e9sentation de la figure humaine et de ses gestes \u00e0 celle des machines et de l\u2019univers industriel. Sa photographie empreinte d\u2019humanisme et de modernit\u00e9 rend parfaitement compte du monde du travail marqu\u00e9 par la figure de l\u2019ouvrier, le gigantisme des machines, la modernit\u00e9 de l\u2019industrie.
